Tahoe Rim Trail permits

Desolation Wilderness, where I have volunteered for the last few summers, has requested all TRT hikers get a permit for the section of the TRT that goes through the wilderness.

And no, I won't be checking permits. Clearing trails, answering questions, cleaning up campsites...all that is volunteer work.

Checking permits is for rangers.
