The Dome Fire is slowing down, and nearing complete containment. That's great news. Looks like trails to Chilnualna Falls and other areas are beginning to open up.

But we're on alert for high winds in the next few days, so let's hope they don't cause a flare up!

Has the cause of the dome fire been identified yet? I know that they initially claimed it was an abandoned campfire, but then retracted that. Maybe it was, but they aren't allowed to say that until the investigation is complete or maybe they have zero evidence to back that claim. In my opinion, which is informed only by my own experience and thus has no weight, it was a campfire.
