Gear: a High Sierra Backpacking equipment list t you can count on.

DSCF3560.JPG

This is what we take on a three-day trip.  It may not be the perfect list, particularly if you like to travel either ultra-light or with a cast iron skillet.  But it will give you a good place to start.  And the others pages will help you make a few more decisions on what to bring and, more importantly, what to leave at home.

Just remember that it all has to fit into that pair of packs at right.  And between the two of us, we have to carry it all!
