Here's the note to volunteers for USFS:



To all DW Volunteers 


Re: Potential Government Shutdown and our activities


USFS management has requested that I notify all DW Volunteers of the following policy in the event of a "government shutdown" starting tomorrow, October 1, 2025.


"All USFS Volunteer Activities are suspended until further notice."


That means a lot of work won't get done until spring...
