Meadow Work

I spent Friday working with the team from CSERC --the Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center--removing the invasive mullein plants from Fahey Meadow. It was hot. It was sunny--and meadows don't have shade.

But it was a nice team effort, and we got a lot done. We did not get it all--but what's left will be an easy hour or two for whoever follows us.
Big Kudos to CSERC for organizing this: https://www.cserc.org/
And here are a couple of photos:
Before: Mullein galore

After: Mulleins subdued.
