Hiking is Stupid

At least, that's what Fran Leibowitz says in an interview in the Guardian. No notes as to whether she has ever hiked outside Manhattan, or even been outside of Manhattan, although she does say that she hates airports, which indicates she may have at least ventured as far as LaGuardia.



I would understand if you are not interested. Her world seems rather tightly wound around the East and Hudson Rivers, and her sense of nature may focus primarily on those funny squirrels with scaly tails in Central Park...
