...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH

MONDAY AFTERNOON...


* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow possible. Between 6 and 12 inches of snow will be possible in the Sierra Nevada above 4000 feet, and between 3 and 6 inches of snow will be possible in the Lake Isabella, Tehachapi and the Fort Tejon Areas above 3000 feet.


* WHERE...The Southern Sierra from the Sequoia National Forest northward to Yosemite National Park as well as Lake Isabella, Tehachapi and the Fort Tejon Areas.


* WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday afternoon.


* IMPACTS...Plan on travel delays and slick, snow covered roads, some of which may become impassable or closed. Roads that remain open will require tire chains.
