Mega-Drought and you

This sobering article in the LA Times indicates that we are in the midst of the worst drought in 1200 years in the West. And it doesn't look as if it is going to get better any time soon. Very disturbing report.


From a hiking and backpacking perspective, this means we will all have to be making changes in our plans, routes, dates, and activities. But those pale in comparison to the impacts this situation will have on many other aspects of our lives.
