Yosemite National Park is now open again, at least parts of it, both for day trips and even some overnight stays. Here's a quick summary:

Roads Open: Big Oak Flat, El Portal, Badger Pass, Hetch-hetdchy.

Roads Closed: TIoga Pass, Wawona, and Mariposa Grove.

The only campground open is a small section of Upper Pines (two of the loop) by reservation only. There are no first-come, first served campsites at all.

It won't look like the photo above. That's El Capitan from the Valley floor in August...

Disturbing trend

We don't hike at the same pace, so we often hike a bit apart...but we always reconnect at every junction and stream crossing... https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/men-allegedly-abandoning-women-hikes
