Getting better getting older

Today I went out for a nice long walk--six miles of flat hiking along the river in Napa. It's the longest hike I've taken since my hamstring pull nearly three weeks ago.


And you know what? The hamstring felt pretty good. In fact, it didn't hurt as much as my arthritic left knee hurt.


So at my age, I think that's progress. sigh.
