No, this isn't a post about working from home--I just got my first day of work in a trail crew for 2025. Napa Open Space had us tackle a section of the new Soscol Headwaters Trail, mainly repairing damage from a combination of recent storms and local cattle.

The storms should be easing up now, although we're keeping an eye on next week, and the cattle issue looks to be resolved. The final goal is more than 14 miles of trails in this new area, both for hiking and mountain biking. And the area has stunning views.
