One door closes...

And another doors opens. While the days are getting shorter and colder, the mountains may not be an ideal destination. But that just means it's time for the desert. Fall is beautiful there.


Even when we were working full time we tried to spend at least a week in the desert. Now that we're retired, it's more like a month


So here's to getting out, either to see the fall foliage in the Sierra, or maybe the cacti of the desert. Whatever you choose, you'll feel better once you're away from the city.
