More Yosemite Fun

As we explored a possible adventure from the May Lake parking lot, we were approached by a nice young man full of enthusiasm. He asked us what we were doing, and we explained that we were considering a new hike.

"How many miles are you looking to do?" He asked.


I smiled. "Somewhere between two and ten, I said, because we don't think if hikes quite that way.


He recommended Ten Lakes Basin to us, and I was able to agree with him that it was a nice hike. We'd done it years ago as a backpacking trip


He would have been disappointed with our hikes--a total of about ten miles over three days. But then, we weren't looking to do miles. We were looking to enjoy Yosemite...
