And in other news, Badger Pass Ski area is now closed, and the Mist Trail is now open.

People making reservations for camping this summer in the Yosemite campgrounds are finding it very hard to do so. The sites sell out within seconds. This is made more difficult by the fact that the Tuolumne Meadows Campground, Crane Flat Campground, Porcupine Creek Campground, and Bridalveil Campground are all closed for the summer of 2022.

Maybe it's the year to aim for a different park, although we have reservations for a backpacking permit (done by lottery) for at least one trip. Whew!
