On our walks around town we always make sure we get a chance to stroll along the Napa River at some point. You never know what you are going to see there. We've seen sea lions, beaver, lots of birds, rabbits, etc.

On a recent walk we were delighted to see an osprey flying overhead, looking for lunch in the river. And then we crossed a bridge and saw a trio of river otters swimming around and, in one case, eating a tasty fish.

All part of the show, and just another reason to get out and about, even close to homse.
