Hiking is Tops!

As the article states, we've always known that hiking is popular, whether it be just a few turns around the block, or a stroll in a nearby park, or a lengthy thru-hike across numerous states. But it also turns out that it is getting MORE popular.



Yep--be prepared to meet even more people out on your favorite trail. Which, we hope, also means that we will have even more voters who support our national, state, and local parks. That would be a good thing.


Meanwhile, for the rest of this week, I'll be up at Wrights Lake volunteering for the Desolation Wilderness Volunteers. If you happen to see me, be sure to say hello!
