Hiker Rescued

Quite a story here--and older hiker (younger than I am!) got into a pickle, but managed to survive long enough for resuers to find her.



Good for her for letting people know where she was going hiking--but at our age, I now like taking along some kind of communication unit that will allow me to contact someone if I need help.


I use a Zoleo, but there are lots of options that work where your cell phone doesn't have coverage.
