Bridge out

There are reports that the bridge over the South Fork San Joaquin south of Muir Trail Ranch is gone.




This will have a major impact on routes in this area this summer, as there are no real alternate routes. And my guess is that there will be other trail issues throughout the Sierra this summer, thanks to the big snows.


Please plan accordingly --and hike safely!
