We were traveling in Europe for the last month, and are finally back home, albeit with some respiratory issues that seem to come with traveling these days. The worst part is that I had to cancel out of a trail crew project this weekend, and I was really looking foward to it. Sigh.

Meanwhile, the situation in our National Parks continues to be a major concern. Here is an excellent article from SF Gate about the staffing cuts, and how they are affecting everything, including the Search and Rescue teams that step in when the rest of us get in trouble.

I hope to be on the mend in a few days, and will report on our adventures once we get our feet back on the trail.
