On our way back down Highway 50 from our latest adventure in Desolation Wilderness, we were ready for lunch and close to Placerville. I was in the mood for a nice Southwestern style chicken sandwich, and the Old Town Grill looked like it might have something good.

It did, but we ended up sharing a "Stuffed Burger" complete with jalapeno peppers and cheese. It was delicious, and came with a choice of sides. We tried to roast veggies, and they were also good. And when you combine that with a reasonable price ($15 for a large burger, etc.) we were very pleased.

Nice people, good food, and a very convenient location right on Main Street between two of the stoplights in Placerville. We'll be back!
