Winter Wonderland...

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to spend a whole winter in the High Sierra, your prayers have been answered. Every year two intrepid souls spend the winter in Tuolumne Meadows at about 9000 in Yosemite National Park.


And every week or so they send out an update, complete with photos. Here's a link:


These are experienced professionals---don't try this at home unless you share their skills and common sense--but they are also really nice people. Their comments about the conditions and the wildlife sightings are always interesting!
