It's not looking good

NOAA has released its forecast for the coming winter, and it looks very much like more of the same--continued drought in the Sierra for at least another year. We all know what that means: drier forests, more fire danger, and consequently, more restrictions in the backcountry.

So two things:

1. Please pay attention to those restrictions and warnings. We don't need any more fires in the Sierra.

2. Pray for rain.
