How Dry Is It?

It's not only drier than anyone can possibly remember.  It's also drier than it has been in the last 500 years.  Check out this story in the LA Times to see how scientists have measured the level of snow in the Sierra---and they couldn't find any to measure:


Here's another way of looking at it.  This is a photo we took at over 8,000 feet in Yosemite in EARLY APRIL  of this year.
